| Loughborough Canal Trip - May 2010
Once more we met at the Peter Le Marchant Trust boat mooring for our day out, only this time we went in the other direction towards Zouch. It was 10am when we set sail and onboard with us was another group of disabled people. After a gentle cruise of about 2 hours and entertainment by a chap with a guitar we stopped for lunch. It was a lovely smooth ride with a fantastic scenic panorama that unfolded before our eyes. The weather stayed fine and we all enjoyed the trip back supplied with tea and biscuits by the crew of the boat.
